A tragedy unfolded near Lancaster as a two-vehicle collision claimed the lives of two individuals, with another person sustaining critical injuries. The multi-vehicle accident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of 185th Street East and East Avenue J.
Emergency responders pronounced the two victims dead at the crash site, while the injured individual was swiftly transported to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition. The vehicles involved in the collision were identified as a white Chevy Malibu and a grey/silver Honda Accord.
Investigators are working to piece together the details of this fatal crash. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
