According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Garland at around 7:20 a.m. The crash happened in the area of South First and Washington Streets between West Miller Road and Avenue D on Monday.
According to the investigators, an unknown truck and an unknown car were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time.
The officials stated that two people suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Garland Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated at this time. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
