2 People Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)

Early Tuesday morning, tragedy struck on I-35 in Gainesville as two young individuals lost their lives in a collision involving a semi-truck. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the semi-truck, disabled in the right northbound lane following a prior fatal crash, was struck by a car driven by a 19-year-old from Sanger.

Both the driver and a 22-year-old passenger from Gainesville were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Remarkably, no one was present in the semi-truck during the crash.

The multi-vehicle accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
