According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Burleson County on Saturday.
The crash happened on FM 908 at around 5 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado and an unknown truck were involved in the collision.
The officials stated that the Chevrolet was traveling in the wrong lane and hit another truck head-on.
Both the drivers suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead following the collision.
A 45-year-old Chad Barcak was identified as the Chevy driver and 47-year-old Kenya Beckett was identified as the pickup driver.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
