A tragic three-car crash in Baldwin Hills has claimed the lives of two individuals, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The multi-vehicle accident unfolded just before 3 p.m. on Saturday when a speeding Mercedes Benz, carrying two passengers, lost control while traveling northbound on La Brea Avenue and Coliseum Street.
The speeding vehicle collided with another car that was waiting to turn left onto Coliseum Street, causing the Benz to flip over and impact another nearby car before landing on its roof. Both occupants of the Mercedes, an adult male and an adult female of African-American descent, were pronounced dead in the fatal crash.
The occupants of the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries and were treated on-site.
