The Georgia Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles in Dekalb County that resulted in the death of two people and left two others injured.

On Friday, a Mazda traveling at a high speed on Buford Highway I-285, for unknown reasons, rammed head-on into a Chevrolet Silverado traveling northbound. Two people in Mazda were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene, while the two others in Chevrolet were injured severely.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
