The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Oxnard on Saturday night. The accident occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway near Naumann Road at around 11:10 p.m.
According to the officials, one crash led to another, resulting in two fatalities. The first crash was between a Volkswagen Golf and a Nissan Sentra. The driver of the Sentra was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a Scion FRS crashed into the Golf.
A fourth vehicle had stopped to help the victims of the crash and the driver was hit while on the way to the scene of the first crash. He was fatally injured and was also pronounced dead. The identity of the victims is not yet known at this time.
The fatal crash is still being investigated.
