According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident in Oceanside on Tuesday.
The crash happened south of Pala Road at around 8:15 p.m.
According to the investigators, an SUV and six unknown people were involved in the collision. The driver of the SUV traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a tree and rolled over several times.
The officials stated that four unknown people suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. The woman and a six-year-old girl were ejected from the SUV and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available.
