The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident that claimed the lives of two bicyclists in Napa County on Tuesday.
Approximately at 11:00 a.m., near Silverado Trail North of Oak Knoll Avenue, a truck was travelling north. It struck two bicyclists who were travelling on the same road. Both of them were fatally injured and were pronounced dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
