The crash happened on northbound I-11 north of mile marker 2.
According to the reports, a tractor-trailer and 2 unknown people were involved in the rollover collision.
The officials stated that the tractor-trailer had left the marked travel lane and ran off the road.
Both the driver and the passenger suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the deceased victims have not been disclosed.
The officers are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
