The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident on Monday. The officials confirmed that two people died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victims were identified as 18-year-old Nakoda Cheyenne Layton and a 17-year-old female passenger.
The crash happened on Monday morning when the 2006 Dodge Ram truck Layton was driving left the roadway and travelled down an embankment. It then flipped over, ejecting Layton and his passenger. Both victims were pronounced dead by the Justice of the Peace Bill.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
