The Georgia State Patrol reported a single-vehicle accident on Monday.
The accident occurred on Highway 8, near Seed Cleaner Road at around 12:30 p.m.
According to the officials, a car was heading west on Highway 8 when it went off the road and crashed into a ditch. It rolled several times before coming to a rest on its roof.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 81-year-old Francis White Morrison, and the passenger, identified as 66-year-old James Richard White, incurred fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have reported that both occupants were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The fatal accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at the moment.
