A tragic ATV accident near Edinburg, Texas, has claimed the lives of two juvenile girls and injured two others. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a distress call on November 26, finding the ATV partially submerged in a canal.
Despite rescue efforts, two girls were pronounced dead at a local hospital. The ATV driver lost control, leading to the motor vehicle accident. Two survivors, having escaped the vehicle, sought help from a nearby resident, who transported them to the hospital.
An investigation is underway, emphasizing caution in ATV operations. Witnesses are urged to contact authorities with any information from the fatal crash.
