2 People Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Boyle Heights (Boyle Heights, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, two people were killed in a motor vehicle accident in Boyle Heights on Sunday.

Roughly at 2:45 a.m., a black SUV truck traveling on the Golden State (5) Freeway, lost control of the vehicle and hit a wall. This caused the vehicle to catch fire. At least two people were fatally injured and were declared dead as a result of the accident.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
