The California Highway Patrol stated that a 52-year-old man and a passenger were killed in a motor vehicle accident in Bonita on Sunday.
On State Route 54 Westbound, near Woodman Drive, the 52-year-old was driving a Black Nissan 370Z when it swerved off the road and struck a curb. The vehicle then crashed into a guardrail leading the vehicle to flip over and end up falling into a deep ravine. The driver and the passenger were fatally injured and were pronounced dead right away.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
