According to the Sacramento Police Department, two people were killed as a result of a law enforcement chase in Sacramento County on Saturday.
Approximately at 2:40 p.m., the police were chasing a stolen Tesla, which ended in the 8000 block of Kiefer Boulevard when the Tesla rammed into a Minivan. A man and a woman were fatally injured in this motor vehicle crash. A woman inside a minivan was rushed to the hospital with injuries.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
