According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday morning in California. Officials confirmed that two people died due to the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the intersection of South Nohl Ranch Road and East Serrano Avenue.
A Toyota, Prius, and a Lexus sedan struck one another head-on. The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Two others were hospitalized sustaining injuries. The identities of the victims are not yet known at this time.
Drugs or alcohol are believed to be major causes that resulted in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
