According to the Oro Valley Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Oro Valley.
Officials confirmed that two people died due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Oracle Road near Pusch View Lane.
A black pickup truck was heading south in a northbound lane.
The truck traveling on the wrong side of the road resulted in a collision with another vehicle.
Two people in the truck were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Other details pertaining to the accident including the identity of the victims remain unknown.
The crash continues to be investigated by the OVPD.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
