2 people injured in a two-vehicle collision on Chuckanut Drive (Burlington, WA)

On early Sunday, two people suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Chuckanut Drive.

According to the reports, one driver fled the scene after the crash and the other was found to be driving under the influence. Officials stated that a 16-year-old girl was turning from Chuckanut onto Pulver Road near Burlington at around 12:30 a.m. when a driver on Pulver ran a stop sign and crashed into her car.

The driver who ran the stop sign fled from the scene, leaving two injured passengers behind. The 16-year-old girl was found to be driving under the influence. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
