The National City Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Thursday.
The accident occurred at East 24th Street and D Avenue at around 7.44 a.m.
The officials reported that two students were crossing the road when they were struck by a vehicle.
The victims were reported to have minor injuries. The identities of the victims have not been revealed.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. She was identified to be a female but no other details were revealed.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
