2 People Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Georgetown Township (Ottawa County, MI)

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi-vehicle crash that injured two people in Georgetown Township on Wednesday. 

The crash happened at the intersection of Chicago Drive and Eighth Avenue after 1 p.m. 

A preliminary investigation of crash reports revealed a 1998 Chevy Silverado, driven by a 22-year-old Jenison man, was traveling south on Eighth Avenue and turning into a driveway when it was struck from behind by a 2014 Kia Sedona, driven by a 30-year-old Jenison woman.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries from the crash. The Chevy passenger, a 19-year-old, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The Kia Sedona passengers, a nine-month-old remained uninjured, and a 22-year-old was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries. 

No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is being investigated.
