The State Police reported a multi-vehicle crash in Bellevue at around 7:15 a.m.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported that the crash happened on East Channel Bridge between Mercer Island and Bellevue.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the accident, and one of them caught fire.
Two people were injured in the crash, and the extent of their injuries is not known at this moment. The other two people remained uninjured in the crash.
According to Capt. Tom Tull, three bystanders, pulled out the victim from his car before it engulfed in flames.
Victims were taken to the hospital with no information regarding their condition.
The crash is being investigated.
All the lanes of eastbound I-90 reopened on Tuesday morning after closing down due to the crash.
