The California Highway Patrol reported several multi-vehicle crashes on Highway 50.
The crashes occurred on Tuesday night.
There were collectively two people injured in the three separate crashes.
Both victims incurred moderate injuries and were taken to a local hospital. There was a third injured person but they were treated at the crash site and released immediately.
The identities of those injured have not been disclosed.
The authorities have not given any details regarding the three crashes and in which crash the people were injured.
The crashes are still being investigated.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
