According to the Michigan Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Livingston County on Tuesday. The crash was reported in the southbound lanes of U.S. 23 at Crouse Road at around 4:37 p.m.
A 60-year-old Taylor man was identified as a driver of a 2007 Freightliner, who rear-ended a 2015 Dodge Caravan in the roadway.
A 33-year-old Grand Blanc man who was driving the Caravan suffered major injuries.
The semi-truck crashed into the back of a 2014 International Harvester driven by a 58-year-old Gaylord man.
According to the authorities, the international Harvester was forced into the back of a fully loaded 2020 Freightliner semi-truck, driven by Flint.
The driver of the 2007 Freightliner suffered major injuries and was rushed to the University of Michigan Hospital.
The investigators found all four drivers wearing seat belts.
Drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed did not play a factor in the fatal crash.
