According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred
in Callahan County on Wednesday.
The crash happened about two miles east of U.S. Highway 283 at around 3 p.m.
According to the Texas Department of Corrections, a 2017 Ford passenger car and a
2017 Bluebird passenger bus were involved in the collision.
The bus was traveling west and the passenger car was not clear to pass, attempted to
cut back into the lane, and struck the bus.
Both the drivers suffered major injuries and were rushed to an area hospital with non-
threatening injuries.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Deputies.
