The Yuma Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Yuma on Thursday morning. The accident happened in the area of 3 ½ East Avenue and 32nd Street at around 7:54 a.m.
A gray 2017 Nissan Frontier being driven by a 55-year-old man collided head-on with a gray 2019 Nissan Frontier being driven by a 31-year-old man who was traveling east in the westbound lane. Both drivers were transported with minor injuries to Yuma Regional Medical Center, according to YPD. The names of the victims have not been made public yet.
The officials have reported that alcohol played a role in the accident. There have been no arrests made yet. There are no other details available at the moment. The crash continues to be investigated.
