Authorities responded to a Friday motor vehicle crash that injured two people on Lake Michigan drive in Tallmadge Township. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies, an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash on Friday flipped onto its top in a separate crash.
A Honda driver struck a Ford Focus in an attempt to make a U-turn near 24th avenue. After failing to stop, the Honda continued east on Lake Michigan Drive, forcing another vehicle off the road. The Honda then flipped over onto its top.
The Honda driver was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The Ford Focus driver sought their own medical aid.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
