2 People Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a motor vehicle crash was reported on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles.

Officials confirmed that two people were injured due to the accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 1600 block of E. Vernon Avenue, near Vernon Station.

The driver of an SUV attempted to turn left in front of the Metro Blue Line.

This resulted in the SUV colliding with the train.

A woman inside the SUV had to be extricated from it.

A pedestrian suffered a minor injury due to the wreck and was hospitalized.

None of the passengers inside the train were injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the LAPD.
