2 People Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Atlanta.

A black Chrysler 200 traveling at over 120 mph on the GA-400 SB near Lenox Road. 

The driver attempted to swerve when GSP officers turned on their sirens and began to pursue the Chrysler.

The Chrysler started heading east on Sidney Marcus Boulevard. At the intersection of GA-13, the driver then attempted a U-turn.

The suspect lost control of the car as he tried to merge onto I-85 south.

The car spun off the highway’s right shoulder, struck a light post, then crashed into a tree and caught fire.

When the patrol officers arrived at the Chrysler, they discovered the driver leaning up against the back of the car with a broken leg and a woman in the passenger seat as well. 

In critical condition, both the victims were taken to the hospital.
