2 People Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Atlanta on Sunday.

The accident occurred at around 7 p.m. on Christmas Day along Campbellton Road off Enon Road. 

A pickup truck struck the officer and a pedestrian while they were inside their patrol car, according to a spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department.

According to APD, the officer and pedestrian both received minor injuries.

The victims were taken to the hospital for care. Their condition is unknown.

According to police, the driver remained at the scene of the collision. 

The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. 

The crash is being investigated by the police.

The officials believe that the truck slid on some ice and caused it.
