According to the Washington State Trooper, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Saturday morning.
The officials reported that a white 2008 Pontiac G6 and a gray 1999 Dodge Caravan were involved in a crash on Interstate 90.
The officials revealed that 47-year-old Sandra Macias De Alba, the passenger of the Pontiac was taken to Harborview Medical Center via helicopter with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Pontiac was identified as 26-year-old Jose Castorena suffered injuries and was transported to Yakima Valley Memorial.
The passengers and driver of the Caravan were not injured in the crash.
Witnesses revealed to Washington State Trooper Jeremy Weber that the Pontiac was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
