2 people injured after a two-vehicle crash in Arlington (Arlington, WA)

On Wednesday afternoon, two people suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision in Arlington.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 2 p.m. on SR 530 at French Creek Road. The early reports showed that a minivan and a logging truck were involved in the accident. On arrival, medical personnel rushed two occupants of the minivan to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.

One was transported in serious condition while the other was in critical condition. Lanes of SR 530 between Oso and Darrington were shut down as crews worked at the scene. Authorities have not provided any estimated time for reopening of the roads. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
