On Tuesday morning, a man and a woman suffered injuries following a rear-end crash in Allendale Township.
As per the initial information, officials actively responded to the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 88th Avenue at about 8 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle collision. The early reports showed that a 34-year-old Allendale man was stopped on Lake Michigan Drive waiting to turn south on 88th Avenue when a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Coopersville woman crashed into his vehicle from behind.
On arrival, paramedics transported the man to a Grand Rapids hospital in stable condition. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. The woman was provided medical aid at the scene for her injuries, released and ticketed. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
