2 people injured after a traffic collision involving an RV (San Ramon, CA)

On Wednesday, two people were injured following a traffic accident in San Ramon.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, after a man who was driving a stolen RV disregarded a red light at Alcosta Boulevard and crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle incurred minor injuries as a result of the collision.

The Bollinger Canyon Road was opened again to traffic on early Thursday morning, after it remained closed for almost 9 hours due to a crash, caused by the driver of a motor home that was reportedly stolen in San Francisco. Police have not yet revealed the name of the stolen vehicle’s driver, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The incident remains under active review.
