2 people injured after a traffic collision in Acton (Acton, CA)

Two people received injuries after a traffic collision Friday in Acton.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the northbound 14 Freeway near Red Rover Mine Road in Acton at about 2:20 p.m. in response to a two-vehicle accident. The early reports showed that an SUV rolled over and a car went down an embankment as a result of the wreck.

On arrival, first responders rushed two people to the hospital. The extent of injuries sustained by the victims remains unknown at this time. Northbound 14 Freeway traffic leaving the SCV into the Antelope Valley was affected due to the crash. No other information is available.

The accident remains under investigation.
