Two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident on 65 South.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle pile-up took place at about 5:05 AM in Davidson County on 65 South at the 87 mile marker, close to Fern Avenue. On arrival, emergency personnel took two people to the hospital in unknown condition.
The southbound interstate was temporally shut down as crews worked at the scene, but several lanes have opened back again. The events that have led up to the wreck remain unclear at this time. No other details have been released by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
