On Friday, two people suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision on the Northwest Side.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. on Wickersham Street and Tezel Road. The preliminary investigation indicated that a white SUV was traveling southbound on Tezel when it was broadsided by a pickup truck that ran a stop sign on Wickersham.
The force of the collision caused the SUV to flip over, pinning the two occupants inside. On arrival, emergency responders rescued and transported the victims to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the truck drove away from the scene and remains at large. No additional information has been provided.
