Two people suffered injuries following a motor vehicle accident overnight in Memphis.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle accident took place on Interstate 240 near Poplar Avenue. The early reports showed that multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck and one of them caught fire in the process. Reports further added that there was a major congestion on the interstate at about 1 a.m.
According to the officials, a call about the crash came in at approximately 1:14 a.m. Two people were transported to Baptist East in unknown condition. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
