On Tuesday, a woman and a 9-year-old boy were hospitalized after a vehicle smashed through the front of Great Clips in South Reno.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 3:45 p.m. on S. Meadows Parkway. The early reports showed that a vehicle crashed into the business as a result of which a woman was trapped against the wall and a 9-year-old boy was wedged underneath.
On arrival, emergency crews rescued and rushed both the victims to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The area was shut down for multiple hours as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
