Two people were hospitalized following a wreck Wednesday morning in Victorville.
As per the initial information, the four-vehicle pile-up took place at about 5:19 a.m. on US Highway 395 and Bear Valley Road. The preliminary reports showed that a black 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport, a black 2017 Nissan Sentra, a black Kia Soul, and a silver minivan were involved in the accident.
Crews actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, found four vehicles with moderate to major damage blocking the roadway. The reports also revealed that one driver was pinned in the wreckage, but the motorist managed to get out with no extrication.
Two people were transported to local hospitals with minimal injuries. Three other occupants from various vehicles refused further medical treatment. Officials rerouted the northbound traffic on Highway 395 and westbound traffic on Bear Valley Road through the parking lot of the Shell gas station. No other details are available.
The wreck remains under review.
