On Sunday, two people suffered injuries after a car ran into a home in The Heights.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place on White Oak Drive and Usener Street. The early reports showed that the driver came down the road, uprooted a tree, and slammed into the house.

One person was inside the vehicle when it crashed into the front end. According to the reports, the Nissan GTR rolled upside down after smashing into the home. A tow truck removed a car from the home in The Woodlands Heights. The driver of that car and another person were transported to the hospital are expected to be OK.

The front end of the home was scattered with bricks and debris and the house was destroyed in the crash. Neighbors said that speed might have contributed to the collision. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under investigation.
