On early Friday morning, two people suffered injuries following a motor vehicle accident near Midtown.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision was reported a little before 4 a.m. on N. Trezevant in which a garbage truck was involved. On arrival, emergency crews transported one person to Regional One while the other victim was taken to Methodist North.
The extent of injuries suffered by the patients remains unclear at this time. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. The intersection was shut down as crews worked at the scene. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
