On early Wednesday morning, a driver and a passenger suffered injuries following a rollover crash in San Antonio.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at about 12:50 a.m. near I-35 southbound and North New Braunfels Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that the driver of the vehicle failed to maintain control while racing another car as a result of which the vehicle flipped. At that time, some Good Samaritans pulled the driver and the passenger out of the vehicle.
On arrival, emergency personnel transported the two victims to Brooke Army Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition. The driver claimed that someone was trying to race them that led them to crash, but officials stated that both the vehicles were actively racing. Multiple agencies responded to the scene. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
