On Monday, two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision involving three vehicles and a pedestrian in Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of West Wigwam Avenue and Redwood Street at about 6:30 p.m. after getting reports of a pedestrian accident. On arrival, emergency personnel rushed two people to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.
Traffic was shut down on Wigwam Avenue in both directions, from Fox Brooks to Torrey Pines as crews worked at the scene. A driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. No other details are immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
