On Friday, two people were injured following a traffic collision in Van Nuys.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle wreck was reported at about 11:30 a.m. on southbound lanes of the 405 freeway near Victory Boulevard. The early reports showed that at least eight cars and one big rig were involved in the accident.
On arrival, emergency personnel transported two people to the hospital; one with minimal injuries and the other with unknown injuries. Officials closed several lanes of the 405 Freeway as crews worked at the scene. No other details are made available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
