According to Memphis Fire Department, two people were rushed to the hospital following a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 240 early Monday morning.
The accident took place before 2 a.m. at Interstate 240 and Airways Boulevard, according to the MFD officials.
Officials reported that someone ran into a fire engine with the Memphis Fire Department at the scene.
The two injured victims were transported to Baptist East.
The identity of the victims was not revealed by the MFD.
According to the officials, no firemen were injured during the accident.
The incident is being investigated at the moment.
