The Pima County Sheriff’s deputies reported a motor vehicle crash in Tucson on Saturday.
The collision involved a car and a pickup truck. Ryan Au, 20, and Anthony Nguyen, 23 were occupants in the car, perished in the collision, according to the department.
According to PCSD, the pickup truck was struck by the speeding car after it crossed the centerline. The pickup truck had four people in it.
All four of the injured individuals were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the police. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional details regarding the crash are not available currently.
