The Los Angeles Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Panorama City on Tuesday evening.
The driver and a number of passengers were leading the pursuit through the San Fernando Valley. They collided with a silver sedan at the intersection of Lanark Street and Woodman Avenue at around 8 p.m. An allegedly stolen black pickup truck’s driver attempted to be stopped by police. The suspect suddenly veered off the road.
Authorities reported that the sedan’s driver and a passenger were both declared dead at the scene. Police revealed the names of the victims were Chris Teagardin and Tim Schultz, both over 40 years old.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
