The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Hart County on Monday.
The collision involved only one vehicle.
The accident happened on GA 8 close to Seed Cleaner Road at around 12:23 p.m.
A Chevrolet Spark reportedly ran off the north shoulder of GA 8 while heading westbound and fell into a ditch, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The vehicle flipped multiple times before coming to a stop in the ditch.
At the scene, both the driver and the passenger were declared dead.
Both occupants were not wearing a seatbelt, according to state troopers.
Their names and identities have not been made public.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
