2 People Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Chattanooga (Chattanooga, TN)

The Chattanooga Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Shallowford Road.

Tyrell Williams, 20, was the driver of a BMW that sped through a red light at West Shepherd Road and collided with a Buick that was making a left turn. 

Passengers in both vehicles died.

Williams was taken to the hospital along with the Buick’s driver, who had critical, potentially fatal injuries.

Williams, according to the police, was drunk at the time.

Williams will soon be the subject of arrest warrants, according to Chattanooga Police, for two counts of vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide by intoxication, aggravated assault, and other traffic-related offenses.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the authorities.
